Are so cute, soft and fluffy. Rabbits make wonderful pets; they are easy to handle and can be trained to use a litter box. Rabbits can live 5 to 10 years and feeding is easy because rabbit pellets come with complete and balanced nutrition, but good quality hay, grass or clippings should be given daily. Carrots and leafy tops, lettuce, spinach, and applies are good in small daily amounts. Rabbits can be housed outdoors or indoors. When indoors, don’t allow them total freedom. Rabbits love to chew telephone and electrical cords and can be seriously injured. A roomy wire cage is needed for both indoors and outdoors and wire mesh to allow fecal pellets to drop through and adequate shade to prevent heat stroke. Rabbits are especially sensitive to high temperatures whether indoors or outdoors. A heavy water and food bowl not easily tipped should be provided, at all time.
